This week focus on this ONE THING
when it comes to what is distracting you:
YOUR THOUGHTS.
Your random thoughts can be
your biggest distractors.
So instead of letting a thought derail you
from what you are currently doing;
keep a THOUGHT DUMP NOTEBOOK.
For example,
a thought comes in
“I need to return Judy’s phone call”!
Instead of calling her right then,
put it in your Thought Dump Notebook
and return immediately
to the task at hand.
When you finish your important task,
take a look at the thoughts
you dumped in your notebook.
Prioritize them;
and then incorporate them
into your day
or week
or your month.
Focus takes PRACTICE.
With time you’ll get better at it.
YOU CAN DO THIS!
“If you commit to nothing,
you’ll be distracted by everything”.

Thanks Sandy, I like that you put both on one page. Much easier!

That was my hope that it would be easier and hopefully more people will read my blogs now! I really appreciate your input.

Hello Sandy,
I just stumbled upon you while searching YouTube for tips on downsizing and minimizing. I’ve just spent an hour with you. You’ve inspired me with your positivity and practical suggestions. I love The Thought Dump Notebook idea. The older I get (64) the more difficult it is to stay on track. I tease and say I have adult onset attention deficit disorder! Nudged by the Lord, we are making drastic changes before life circumstances forced it upon us. Thank you for the wonderful content!

Hi Sherrie, I am thrilled that you found my content valuable to you! Yes, I feel like my brain is getting more jumbled as I age and I am glad that I found someone who agrees! You are wise to downsize and declutter now while you are still able. Too many wait too long and then it is almost impossible!
