OUR MIRACLE MOVE

 

With so many readers wondering what the heck is happening and why we are moving so often, I am sharing now:

 

OUR MIRACLE MOVE

 

Last May, a little over a year ago,

 

we made a difficult move to a place that offered more care for my husband.

 

We sold our condo for a lot more than the other ones of that size were selling for.

Things were a little crazy in the real estate market at the time.

 

It sold in just a couple of days.

 

  The new place was right across the street.

 

The rent was very expensive but we felt we were making the right

 decision.

 

 

If we had not moved there my husband would not be alive today. 

 

 We hated to sell and move out of the lovely condo that we owned. 

 

We had been very happy living there for eight years 

 

but we felt that God was directing us to move. 

 

 So we moved. 

 

 

 We did not know what was wrong with my husband. 

 

 The air conditioner went out six times that very hot summer while living in this new place and each time my husband got much worse. 

 

We wondered what was going on!

 

 If it wasn’t for the physical therapist working with my husband

 

 and noticing the changes in him, 

 

we would have never learned that his heart was failing. 

 

 She noticed him swelling up and shortness of breath etc. 

 

We got a better doctor that told him to go into emergency asap and so he did. 

 

 He had a heart condition that did not pump fluid through his body correctly.  

 

At the hospital, he had the fluid drained out.  

 

 He lost sixty pounds in one month.

 

 A month after he was released from the hospital, he had a follow-up visit with the cardiologist.

 

The doctor said my husband’s heart was pumping fine and he wanted to see him in a year.

 

We moved out of that place because my husband was healed and feeling well again. 

 

 And we needed to save money!

 

We moved to a temporary rental place hoping we could somehow get back to the community we were living in.  Here is our moving day in January.

We never imagined we would be moving back into the condo we sold!

 

The photo below shows me in the new temporary apartment. It was nice but we did not feel like it was our “home”.

 

 The condos were selling fast and for much more.

We wondered if we would ever be able to get back into that 55-plus community that we loved.

 

  I was able to get a hold of the lady that bought our condo. 

 

 None of the neighbors could give me her number and she did not answer her door. 

 

Our phone number was still in the community directory.

 

I finally got the number though.

I went to the security office at the clubhouse.

The lady at the front desk said there was no way I could get the phone number.

I thought I would try anyway.

 

I felt God leading me.

 

 That security guy was not supposed to give out phone numbers but he did.

 

  He only lasted on the job one day, 

 

The day I needed that phone number.

 

I called her that afternoon.

 

 I found out she did not like living there. 

 

She bought the condo in May, but did not move into the 

 

condo until the Fall.

 

  She decided she wanted a patio home not a condo in a multi-story building. 

 

 She agreed to sell us back the condo for the same price we sold it to her.

 

I tried to help her find a patio home in that community.

 

   She did not want to go through a realtor.

 

 That condition made it difficult because all of the places were selling very quickly and were being sold by realtors.

 

 We were beginning to lose hope since the patio homes were selling before I could find out about them.

 

 A couple of months ago,  I texted the present owner of the condo we moved out of.

 

I had heard that lots of patio homes were selling now, so I thought I needed to let her know.

 

I found out that her doctor advised her not to live alone. 

 

That happened just a week prior.

 

 She had to sell the condo and move as soon as possible. 

 

So she sold the condo back to us!

 

We were thrilled!

 

Especially since the prices were going up very quickly!

 

She had made several improvements to the condo while living there.

 

 They were all improvements we liked.

 

We are presently living here in the apartment packing up to move.

 

So yes, this will be our third move in just 14 months.

 

 

 July 19th is moving day.

 

I am becoming quite the moving expert!

 

 If this is not God working miracles, I don’t know what is! 

 

 We are delighted that God saved our condo for us! 

 

God really does answer prayer! 

 

And he wants me to share this miracle with YOU!
